The Island Fever Collection

                        ….Is Back!

With much thought and persuasion from fans I have decided to bring back the Island Fever Collection.  But with a twist! The Island Fever Collection is as vibrant and unique as the Caribbean islands represented in this collection.

Designs such as the Anguillian Paper Necklace worn by model Cora Zon (below) was created from the colorful pages of the  “What we do in Anguilla” Magazine 2011.

Nanichi 2012 theme leaves little mystery as to who it’s designed for; with a very bold and colorful look and a feel that brightens each day. This year’s theme is “Colors of paradise”, as you may have expected Nanichi will be highlighting what make a paradise visually appealing.

Anguilla is a paradise of natural riches, a place that has influenced the creation of Nanichi and this year’s theme in particular.  From earth tone to a burst of everything color! This year we are giving our consumers designs to look to for renewed energy, Hopefulness, confidence and the promise of a brighter year.

Saturday, February 25th 2012 turned out to be one of the windiest days of the month. A day planned exclusively for outdoor shooting ended indoors at Carveli Studios. Nevertheless, it was not a bad turn out either; for an outdoor lover the energy in the studio was warm and inviting… With a little Erykah Badu in the background and vuala!!!!

I have had the pleasure of working with many talented artists in the past who continue to inspire me.  In a recent photo shoot I worked with a few talented “Raw Artists” in their own right, such as photographer Enoch of El-Shamesh Photography, and photographer/designer TRUE:xpressionz; Hairstylist JaFreda Brown of The Loc Shop, and Makeup artist Tia of Splash of Beauty.

From this shoot one of my favorite photos to this date will be featured at the Raw: Natural Born Artists Expo on February 9th 2012.
